I recommend you go out buy lots of bananas and freeze them (take the peel off of course). Then make soft serve ice cream for days.
My all time favorite is my salted almond ice cream (which is also soft serve). But you can’t go wrong with tahini and banana if you’re into tahini. See all my tips and tricks for making a quick and easy tahini banana soft serve. And it goes great with waffle cones.
There’s also my peanut butter banana soft serve which I make just so I can add roasted peanuts to it. Better yet, check out all twenty eight of my ice cream recipes, both soft serve and churn. Some are best in an ice cream maker while soft serve can be made on the spot.
In other news, I’m sharing my favorite mayonnaise. It doesn’t contain oil or eggs, and can be made with cashews or sunflower seeds (nut or nut-free). I make this mayonnaise in small batches, usually half the amount of the recipe, since I don't use a lot of it. And I use it mostly in recipes like tuna salad, egg salad, and salad dressings. It's also great when spread on sandwich bread and bagels.
Thanks for being here. Happy 4th if you’re in the US. Wishing you great food and health, always.
Cheers,
Erica
